Run Sentro on
your infrastructure

The complete monitoring platform — dashboard, admin console, REST API, and check engine — running entirely on servers you control. Perpetual licence, no metered usage, no data leaving your network.

01
Quick start

Running in 5 minutes

One command on any Docker host. Secrets are generated for you.

bash
$ curl -fsSL https://sentro.dev/install.sh | bash
Checking requirements... Docker, Compose, OpenSSL
Generating secrets... database, queue, sessions, encryption
Starting services... dashboard, admin, api, worker, proxy
Installation complete.

Equivalent long form: bash <(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sentro-dev/self-hosted/main/install.sh)

Prefer to read it first? The installer, compose file, and chart live in the public self-hosted repository.

01

Install

One command pulls the compose stack, generates every secret for you, and brings up the database, queue, dashboard, admin panel, API, worker, and an HTTPS reverse proxy.

02

Register

Open the dashboard on your own domain and create the first account. Admin credentials for the control panel are printed by the installer.

03

Monitor

Add your first check. The worker starts probing immediately and alerts flow through email, Slack, and webhooks the moment something breaks.

02
Benefits

Why self-host

Everything in the cloud version — running entirely on your servers.

Complete Data Sovereignty

Every check result, incident, and audit record lives in your own PostgreSQL. Nothing is sent to us, ever.

Admin Dashboard Included

The same operator console we run in the cloud ships with every self-hosted install — users, billing, CRM, audit, and system health.

No Limits

A one-time perpetual licence with no metered checks and no per-seat billing. Enterprise removes monitor and member caps entirely.

Your Infrastructure, Your Rules

Bring your own domain, TLS, SMTP relay, backups, and retention policy. Works fully offline — the licence check is optional and fails open.

SSO / OIDC Integration

On Business and Enterprise, wire up to five OpenID Connect providers — Okta, Entra ID, Keycloak, Auth0 — and optionally force every sign-in through them.

Air-Gapped Ready

No outbound calls are required to run. Pin an image tag, mirror it into your own registry, and upgrade on your schedule.

03
Operator tooling

Your own admin command center

Self-hosting does not mean a stripped-down build. The operator console we use to run the cloud service ships in the box, on your own domain.

Platform Analytics

Signups, active monitors, check volume, incident trends, and queue depth on one operator dashboard.

User & Org Management

Search every account, inspect organisations and memberships, adjust plans, suspend or restore access.

Revenue & Invoicing

Subscriptions, invoices, and usage reporting — useful even internally for chargeback across teams.

CRM & Support Tickets

Contacts, deals, and support conversations tracked next to the accounts they belong to.

Audit Trail

Every privileged action recorded with actor, target, and timestamp in your own database.

System Health

Live database, queue, and worker status plus platform-wide settings and admin role management.

On a self-hosted install the licence screen turns into a read-only view of your edition, limits, and current usage.

04
Observability

A built-in observability stack

Monitor the monitor. Metrics are exposed from day one.

Prometheus metrics

The check engine exposes checks executed, active monitors, open incidents, check duration, alerts dispatched, and queue depth.

Grafana bundled

An optional profile brings up Prometheus and Grafana already pointed at the worker — no scrape config to write.

Bring your own stack

Already run Prometheus? Scrape the worker directly, or use the Kubernetes ServiceMonitor the Helm chart ships with.

05
Deployment

Deploy your way

Two supported paths, from single-box quick start to production Kubernetes.

Fastest

Docker Compose

For indie developers, small teams, and staging. A single machine runs the whole platform, with an HTTPS reverse proxy that gets certificates for your domain automatically.

  • ✓ Setup in about 5 minutes
  • ✓ Minimum 2 cores, 4 GB RAM (x86-64)
  • ✓ Automatic HTTPS for your domain
  • ✓ Optional docs, sandbox & monitoring add-ons
bash
$ cp .env.example .env # fill in your domains
$ docker compose up -d
Production

Kubernetes (Helm)

For teams that need high availability. The chart brings PostgreSQL and Redis with it, or points at your managed instances, and runs schema migrations as a hook on every upgrade.

  • ✓ Horizontal autoscaling
  • ✓ Minimum 4 cores, 8 GB RAM (x86-64)
  • ✓ Ingress, TLS & pod disruption budgets
  • ✓ Prometheus ServiceMonitor
bash
$ helm install sentro sentro/sentro \
--namespace sentro --create-namespace \
-f my-values.yaml

Community needs no licence key at all — install and run. Paid editions unlock by pasting a signed key into your configuration and restarting.

Monitoring on your own terms

Start with Community for free on your own box. Upgrade to a paid edition whenever you outgrow it — the data and the install stay exactly where they are.
